Most expensive piece

This is a 24'' long necklace that is hand braded hemp cord with silver and gold glass seed beads hand sewn on to the Hemp. The Cabochin is polished red jasper with a sterling silver indian emblem on it with hand braded wire and bent silver plated leaf ends on the sides. It is 2 1/2 '' long and 2'' wide. This necklace took 30 hours to make.  It is a bit heavy, I wish I could show the detail of the seed beads, they kind of go in a spiral pattern as they were sewn onto to the hemp. ( after making this chain I found beads that were round with seed beads attached that could have been just slipped onto the hemp cord, oh well live and learn). The sterling silver indian came from an old Indian silversmith who also polished rocks and worked with tons of Tourquoise. I met him years ago and when he passed away his kids sold all his stuff, and I bought several pieces from the estate, He was amazing. He taught me the Cherokee way of making Dream Catchers. This is my tribute to him, guess that is why it was so painstakingly time consuming  to make. If this never sells, I wont be upset.
$200.00
